The Wax Lake Outlet campground on Atchafalaya Delta Wildlife Management Area (WMA) is closed due to construction work for campground improvements, the Louisiana Department of Wildlife and Fisheries (LDWF) announced.

The closure is expected to last approximately three months and may be extended if construction delays occur on the project.
