HAHNVILLE – St. Charles Parish President Matthew Jewell and the Department of Public Works introduced an ordinance at the January 10 Council Meeting to execute a contract for temporary emergency repairs to be made to the Des Allemands Bulkhead.

In preparation for the work, a town hall meeting will be held at 5:30 p.m. Wednesday, January 19 to share plans with the residents and answer questions regarding the project. The public meeting will take place at the Des Allemands Fire House, located at 16960 US-90 in Des Allemands.

Members of the administration, council and the engineers for the project will be in attendance.
