SCSO investigates illegal dumping

The St. Charles Parish Sheriff’s Office is currently investigating the illegal dumping of a large pile of debris on WPA Road near the intersection of Bayou Gauche Road.
The pile of debris appeared to be mainly old roofing shingles, as well as other miscellaneous roofing materials. Deputies also located a trash bag containing spoiled floor, drinks and more roofing materials.
This is an ongoing investigation. It’s really a shame that resources have to be dedicated for this type senseless disregard; however, it is in-fact a crime and Sheriff Champagne wants to make sure that the culprit(s) are held responsible.
