LAPLACE — As of December 10, 1,285 disaster loans for a total of $92.1 million SBA disaster loans are approved for individuals and businesses in St. John the Baptist Parish. Below are the latest detailed numbers available for the River Parish Region.

Looking at the entire disaster declaration, the SBA has now approved more than $1.094 billion dollars in disaster loans directly to homeowners and renters with the total being $1.173 billion in disaster assistance loans.

The official SBA disaster loan application deadline passed last Monday, November 29, but there is a grace period until December 14 for homeowners, renters, businessowners and non-profit staff to apply for disaster assistance from the SBA.
