FEMA Disaster Recovery Centers closed due to inclement weather

EDGARD — FEMA Region 6 announced that the two Disaster Recovery Center locations in St. John the Baptist Parish are closed for the rest of the day Wednesday, Sept. 29, due to inclement weather.
The locations are as follows:
- Frazee-Harris Memorial Library (parking lot), 111 Historic Front Street, Garyville, LA 70051
- Roland Borne, Sr. Memorial Library (parking lot), 2979 LA-18, Edgard, LA 70049
The centers are open from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. until further notice to residents and businesses affected by Hurricane Ida.
Residents may also apply for FEMA assistance online or apply/check application status by phone at 1-800-621-3362.
