An emergency left lane closure on I-55 Southbound at Mile Marker 1 (near the Laplace Exit) will be in effect beginning Wednesday, September 22, 2021, at 8PM until further notice for emergency bridge repair.

PERMIT INFORMATION:
All I-55 Southbound commercial trucks are to take the Laplace Exit (Exit 1).

DETOUR INFORMATION:
The following is an alternate route to avoid the work zone:
Motorists traveling I-55 Southbound to I-10 east may take the Laplace Exit (Exit 1), then south on US 51 to US 61 (Airline Highway), then east to LA 3152, then north to re-intersect I-10.
