Janice Edler McTopy passed away on Friday, Nov. 7, 2014.

She was 68 and a native and resident of LaPlace.

She was the beloved wife of the late James ‘Lil Mac’ R. McTopy Jr.; daughter of the late Mabel Madere Edler and Clinton Edler; and sister of Marilyn Acosta, Michael Edler and the late Hardy Edler and CJ Edler.

She is also survived by nieces, nephews and three sisters-in-law.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Funeral Mass at St. Joan of Arc Catholic Church, 529 W. 5th St. in LaPlace at 11 a.m. Thursday, Nov. 13.

Visitation will begin in church at 9:30 a.m. Interment is in St. John Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
