Hahnville, LA – The St. Charles Parish Department of Wastewater will close West Heather Drive in Luling between the intersections of Lakewood Drive and St. John Street beginning Monday, July 19 at 7 a.m. The work is expected to last through August 4.
During this time, a contractor will be working on a lift station located on West Heather Drive and will replace hatches for access into the wet well and valve pit.
Barricades on West Heather at the east side intersection of St. John Street and at the bridge at Cousins Canal will close the road entirely, ensuring safety for both our residents and the workers. No thru traffic will be permitted to pass. However, residents living in the specific work area near 163 West Heather Drive will be permitted as local traffic. Detour signs will direct traffic to Birch Street.
