LAPLACE — St. John the Baptist Parish Public Schools recognized 2020-2021 ACT Elite scholars who had remarkable achievements in testing.
Robby Gaude (STEM), Trinity Jaques (East St. John) and Michael Reeves (STEM) earned a 30-plus composite score on the ACT. According to data released by the Department of Education last fall, the average ACT composite score for the Class of 2020 in Louisiana was 18.7. A score of 30-plus places scholars above the 90th percentile among test-takers nationally.
Gaude, Hayden Edler (STEM) and Jaydon Hamilton (West St. John) were honored for earning a “platinum” score on the ACT-WORKKEYS assessment. These students had scores of Level 6 or higher on all exams.
STEM sophomores Emani Payne and Jaiden Reed were also honored by the St. John School Board for achieving a perfect score of 850 in the English II section of the LEAP 2025 assessment.
