LAPLACE — Little Harvard Learning Academy celebrated its 2021 graduation on June 20. The following little scholars are moving forward to kindergarten: Ronald August, Erin Barnes, Khan Clark, Rhylan Coleman, Robert Coleman III, Brycen Davis, Makhi Davis, Yale Espinal, Cayce Harris, Dwayne Hill Jr., Kenne’Di Shinard and Craig Smith.

The graduates entered to the song “Friends Forever” by Vitamin C, just before Ms. Hayes and Ms. Marquita issued a welcome address. Salutatorian Cayce Harris led a prayer, and valedictorian Khan Clark said the affirmation. Makhi Davis led a recitation of “Hey Black Child.”

During the “Morning Circle” time, the children proudly displayed their knowledge about the days of the week, months, alphabet, vocabulary words, shapes and more.

Ms. Hayes and Ms. Marquita gave out awards and diplomas. Each graduate turned the tassel on their caps to celebrate the conclusion of their preschool journey.
