1972- Mrs. Emily Watkins (left) principal of the Woodland Elementary School in LaPlace, receives a trophy from Albert T. Becnel, St. John Parish March of Dimes chairman, in behalf of the Woodland School, which finished first this year in per capita donations to the 1972 March of Dimes drive in the parish schools.
