Especially written for performance online starring actors from the Master of Fine Arts program at the Louisiana State University School of Theatre.

THE LILLY POD wonders if you can really buy your own oil rig, and why you would want to.

 The LAB MEETING is about the pursuit of science and sex, and asks if neurobiology can derail love in the lab.

Vince LiCata’s science-based plays have been produced across the US and abroad, and have focused on HIV drug development, ageing research, graduate student-mentor conflicts, science activism, autism, climate change, petroleum, research ethics enforcement, the structure of DNA, and cloning.

Writer Vince LiCata says “Writing theatre for Zoom presents new questions and opportunities. It’s not video, it’s not on stage, it’s really something in-between. For me, it inspires new stories and new points of view on classic stories. These plays are two of the imagined Zoom meetings I secretly spied on.”

Andy Jordan’s productions include Insufficiency and Ego at ZSpace Theatre, San Francisco, and new play The Inn at Lydda at Shakespeare’s Globe. Andy Jordan Productions has produced over fifty shows at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival, on tour, and in London, most recently COPS at the Southwark Playhouse.
