LAPLACE – The Knights of Columbus Ascension of Our Lord Council 9623 will be sponsoring the Thanksgiving Turkey Fry for 2020. Fried turkeys, which range in size from 10 to 12 pounds, have been specially prepared and cooked by the Ascension of Our Lord award-winning cooking team.

Prices are $40 a turkey, or 2 for $75. Community members can pre-order your turkey with any Ascension of Our Lord Knights of Columbus members no later than Nov. 10.

Customers can make a check or money order payable to Ascension of Our Lord Council 9623 with each order. The mailing address is 2004 East Frisco Drive, LaPlace, LA 70068. Customers can also drop off payments to The Ascension of Our Lord Catholic Church Rectory, located at 799 Fairway Drive, next to Ascension of Our Lord School.

There is a limited quantity, so turkeys will be first come, first served. Turkey orders come complete with re-heating instructions and will be available for pick-up in front of Ascension of Our Lord Catholic Church between 2 and 5 p.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 24.
