NATCHITOCHES  — Nine hundred and twenty-nine students at Northwestern State University, including numerous River Region students, have been named to the Dean’s List for the Spring 2014 semester, according to Northwestern State Provost and Vice President for Academic and Student Affairs Dr. Lisa Abney.

Students on the Dean’s List must be enrolled full time and have a grade point average between 3.5 and 3.99.

Those local students named to the Dean’s List for the spring are Melissa Cornett and Claire Laurent of LaPlace, Allison Dukes of Luling and Caitlyn Daigle and Titilayo Oden Shobayo of Paulina.

Those local students on the Honor List, who must have a grade point average of between 3.0 and 3.49, are Jamie Boteler, Haylie Hickman and Shelby Noustens of Destrehan and Cyntrelle Brown and Paige Tassin of LaPlace.
