Fall fun is underway at St. Charles UMC Pumpkin Patch

DESTREHAN — The St. Charles Community Tent Revival is underway at the United Methodist Church Pumpkin Patch in Destrehan.

Starting at 6 p.m. today, Oct. 16, there will be $3 Pumpkin Painting at 1905 Ormond Boulevard. Today’s stage lineup, beginning at 6:30 p.m., includes the St. Charles UMC Choir, the Rev. Jason Harris of First UMC in LaPlace, the Hahnville High School Choir, the New Wine Christian Fellowship Choir and the Rev. Tiffanie Postell of Newman UMC in Alexandria.

Thursday features an evening of instruments, music and storytelling. The on-stage lineup starts at 6:30 p.m. and includes the Harry Hurst Middle School band, Men’s Ministry Leader Kirk Fabre of Vintage Church, musical testimony by April Ebeling, praise and worship led by IWitness and the St. Charles UMC Choir, and the Rev. Josh Elder speaking on behalf of St. Timothy UMC in Mandeville.

At 9 p.m. Friday, there will be a 5th Quarter Yard Party with music, prizes and more following the Destrehan Homecoming game against East St. John. Proceeds from the concessions sales go to the Sarah James Memorial Scholarship Fund.
