St. John the Baptist Parish Sheriff’s Office arrests four

LAPLACE – The St. John Sheriff’s Office arrested four people and seized firearms, narcotics and drug paraphernalia while executing an outstanding contempt of court warrant at a residence in Reserve on Friday.
Arrested were Andrew Alexander, 25, of Reserve; Rashad Brown, 23, of Reserve; Alyshe Johnson, 21, of LaPlace; and Damian Mule, 20, of LaPlace.
At about 4:30 p.m., officers with the Special Operations Criminal Apprehension Team served an arrest warrant for Brown, a convicted felon, for multiple drug violations at a residence in the 400 block of Homewood Place in Reserve.
Approaching the residence, officers identified Brown sitting in the passenger front seat of a vehicle, along with three other occupants, identified as Alexander, Johnson and Mule. Approaching the vehicle, officers observed a clear plastic bag of marijuana on the center console. The officers observed a handgun inside of a notebook on the dash board. All four subjects were then detained. Through further investigation, officers found on Alexander a clear bag of marijuana. Searching the vehicle, officers also found another hand gun, plastic bag of marijuana, two medication bottles containing ocycodone, amphetamine, MDMA and Xanax, an extended hand gun magazine and a tray with an unwrapped marijuana cigar.
Through further investigation, officers observed a plastic bag of marijuana on a center console and a SKS semiautomatic rifle on the back seat of another vehicle, owned by Mule, at the same residence.
Alexander was charged with possession with intent to distribute marijuana (felony), possession with intent to distribute ocycodone, possession with intent to distribute amphetamine (felony), possession with intent to distribute MDMA (felony), possession with intent to distribute Xanax (Alprazolam) (felony), possession or distribution of drug paraphernalia 1st offense (misd), and three counts of illegal carrying of weapon with controlled dangerous substance.
He also is on hold for the St. Charles Parish Sheriff’s Office. He is being held in custody in lieu of a $221,500 bond.
Brown was charged with three counts of possession of a firearm/carrying a concealed weapon by a convicted felon (felony), possession with intent to distribute marijuana (felony), possession with intent to distribute ocycodone, possession with intent to distribute amphetamine (felony), possession with intent to distribute MDMA (felony), possession with intent to distribute Xanax (Alprazolam) (felony), possession or distribution of drug paraphernalia 1st offense (misd). He is being held in custody in lieu of a $246,850 bond. He also is on a hold for the Jefferson Parish Sheriff’s Office.
Johnson was charged with possession with intent to distribute marijuana (felony), possession with intent to distribute ocycodone, possession with intent to distribute amphetamine (felony), possession with intent to distribute MDMA (felony), possession with intent to distribute Xanax (Alprazolam) (felony), possession or distribution of drug paraphernalia 1st offense (misd), and three counts of illegal carrying of weapon with controlled dangerous substance. She is being held in custody in lieu of a $186,500 bond.
Mule was charged with possession with intent to distribute marijuana (felony), possession with intent to distribute ocycodone, possession with intent to distribute amphetamine (felony), possession with intent to distribute MDMA (felony), possession with intent to distribute Xanax (Alprazolam) (felony), possession or distribution of drug paraphernalia 1st offense (misd) and three counts of illegal carrying of weapon with a controlled dangerous substance. He is being held in custody in lieu of a $186,500
