LAPLACE — Gavin LeBouef, son of Jeremy and Leanne LeBouef of Paulina, went the distance at the pitching mound June 28 in a metro baseball game against St. Charles Catholic.

Pitching for Lutcher-based Golden Grove, LeBouef struck out seven and gave up only one run, three hits and two walks. Lutcher won 6-1.
