AKERS — Spring Fling 2019 benefiting Special Olympics Louisiana starts at noon April 28 at Gators Den/Beacon & Lakeside in Manchac (Akers).

Proceeds benefit the Florida Parishes and Bayouland Special Olympics.

The fun includes the Annual Chef’s Best Cook Off. Sign up to be a chef.

Samples will be available for purchase, with more than 15 great dishes to choose from.

There are $1 raffle tickets available for a chance to win a flat screen TV, Rod N Reel Combo or Academy gift certificate.

Other highlights include live music, auctions, dunking booth, games and fun.
