Arthur “Buddy” Grob, a native of Hester and a resident of Lutcher and of Hammond, 75, died at North Oaks Hospital in Hammond on Wednesday, Jan. 15, 2014.

He is survived by two sisters-in-law, Carolyn Brignac Grob and Gail Kraemer Grob, as well as nieces, nephews and other relatives.

He was preceded in death by his parents, George Jr. and Jeanne Petit Grob, and brothers, Allen and George “Jerry” Grob.  

The family would like to extend heartfelt thanks to the staffs of Evergreen Life Services (formerly North Lakes Support and Service Center), North Oaks Hospital, Hospice and Long-term Care Units for their special care given Arthur through the years.

Visitation will be at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Paulina from 9 a.m. until 10:45 a.m. on Saturday, Jan. 18, 2014.  Mass of Christian Burial will be led by Fr. Vincent Dufresne at 11 a.m. followed by interment in St. Joseph Mausoleum.  In lieu of flowers, the family prefers Mass offerings.
