RESERVE — Waitr officials confirmed this week that their LaPlace restaurant delivery service does, in fact, include Reserve residences.

Dean Turcol, public relations director for Waitr delivery services, said Tuesday afternoon that Reserve residents are within range to receive deliveries from more than 10 local restaurants.

“Waitr is delivering to Reserve,” Turcol said. “I wasn’t aware of that when we spoke last week, and I apologize. We hope everyone enjoys the services there.”

El Paso, The Jambalaya Shoppe, Bailey’s Andouille, ZoraChristina Catering & Café, Louisiana Roadhouse, Zaman Mediterranean Café, Clay’s Café, Akari Hibachi and Sushi, Jacob’s World Famous Andouille, IHOP, Dunkin’ Donuts and The New Molcajetes are live and delivering to St. John the Baptist Parish residents in LaPlace and Reserve.

Rotolo’s, La Carreta, Petra Restaurant, Belle Terre Country Club and Frenier Landing have signed up with Waitr and are being added to the app and website.

Delivery range can be viewed at waitrapp.com by selecting a restaurant and clicking the green button that says “zones.”

Garyville and the West Bank of St. John Parish are not currently receiving Waitr services, according to Turcol.

“As Waitr continues growing, the potential always exists for our company to have a presence there,” Turcol said.
