LAPLACE — The River Region Chamber of Commerce is hosting a Women in Leadership: Equity, Equality & Empowerment panel next month.

Organizers ask business interests and the public to join the discussion to learn why it’s important to a business’ bottom line.

Invited panel guests include Raj Pannu, CEO of Pannu Enterprises (Subway); Rhonda Hotard, Louisiana Federal Credit Union CEO; and Rodney Greenup, president of Greenup Industries.

Registration and networking is from 8 to 8:30 a.m. Sept. 13 at Belle Terre Country Club in LaPlace.

A breakfast buffet is included with the program from 8:30 to 9:30 a.m.

​Cost is $35 for Chamber members and $45 for future members. RSVP by Sept. 6.

The requested attire is business with shades of pink.
