RESERVE — The St. John Sugar Queen is celebrating 70 years of pageantry.
This will be a celebration community members won’t want to miss. Organizers welcome the public to “The Greatest Show” How Sweet It has Been! — where they will take attendees on a memorable journey.
The pageant starts at 7 p.m. Aug. 4 at St. Peter School, 188 West 7th Street in Reserve, where the pageant first began.
Tickets will be on sale in the lobby of St. Peter School on Tuesday (July 31) and Thursday (Aug. 2) from 7 to 8 p.m. and Saturday (Aug. 4) prior to the pageant, beginning at 6 p.m.
