Christine Creppel named SCC assistant principal

LAPLACE — St. Charles Catholic High School announced Christine Creppel is the school’s assistant principal, serving as assistant principal of academics and advancement.
Creppel served last school year as the admissions coordinator and foreign language department chair. During that time, school officials, said Creppel made significant contributions to admissions, instructional leadership and the dual enrollment program.
“I am honored to serve our Comet Community in this leadership role closely collaborating with our teachers, students and parents to carry on the tradition of excellence and success of SCC,” Creppel said.
“I believe the best way to do this is by continuing to focus on living our school’s mission statement. SCC is my home, and I look forward to being here for a long time, and I am excited to get started!”
Creppel is a 1996 SCC graduate. A graduate of Louisiana State University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in French, Creppel has lived and worked in France, traveled extensively and immersed herself in the French culture to better teach her students. She is also a recipient of several certificates from universities in Belgium, France, and Canada.
Creppel completed a Master’s program in Educational Leadership from Our Lady of Holy Cross College.
Principal Andrew Cupit said SCC is fortunate to add Creppel as a full time member of the administrative team.
“Her education, experience and love for SCC have provided a foundation that will serve St. Charles Catholic High School and our students well,” Cupit said.
