ST. JAMES PARISH — The Department of Human Resources is pleased to announce the celebration of 50 years of the Community Action Agency, which has been making a significant impact on the lives of individuals and families in St. James Parish. To commemorate this milestone, St. James Parish is hosting a series of Community Action Week Celebrations and cordially inviting the residents to come out to a meet and greet event.
The Community Action Week Celebrations will take place on the following dates and locations:

Westbank Reception Center

These events will provide an opportunity for the community to come together and celebrate the positive impact of our Community Action Agency over the past five decades. Attendees will have the chance to meet the dedicated individuals who have been instrumental in delivering essential services and empowering individuals and families in need.

We invite everyone to join us in commemorating this significant accomplishment and celebrating the positive changes that have been made possible through our collective efforts.”
The meet and greet event will provide an opportunity to learn more about the wide range of services offered by the Community Action Agency. Attendees will also have the chance to engage in meaningful conversations with agency staff, volunteers, and community leaders.
