HARAHAN — What exactly is the “Summer Slide”? Well, it basically means a loss of academic skills and knowledge over the summer break. This loss in learning varies across grade level and subject matter, but it can be hard for students to come back from when school resumes in the fall, especially for students with learning differences.

This free webinar explains five things parents and kids can do each day to help prevent the summer slide. This webinar will be Monday, May 22 from 12 to 1 p.m. This training opportunity is FREE, but registration is required.
