LUTCHER—Specialized services for patients needing orthopedic care of the hand, wrist and elbow are now available in Lutcher.

St. James Parish Hospital is excited to welcome OrthoLA’s Dr. John Hildenbrand IV, Orthopedic Surgeon, and Katherine Daigle, PA-C, Hand Specialist, to our growing list of specialty clinic providers.

Services include treatment for carpal tunnel; trigger finger; hand and wrist pain; tennis elbow; fractures of hand, fingers and wrist; hand and wrist arthritis; tendon injuries; wrist tendonitis; mallet finger and Dupuytren’s Disease.

Outpatient visits are available every Monday from 8 a.m. to noon in the medical plaza.

Additionally, Dr. Hildenbrand will offer hand and upper extremity procedures at St. James Parish Hospital.

“We are extremely excited to expand orthopedic services in St. James Parish,” said Rachel Becnel, RN, Chief Administrative Officer.

“Our new Therapy Center offers many wonderful tools for hand therapy, so having hand specialists on-site will be great for our patients.”

Dr. Hildenbrand is a Board-Certified Orthopedic Surgeon with a subspecialty in Hand and Upper Extremity Surgery.

Katherine is a Physician Assistant certified by the National Commission of Certified Physician Assistants and the Louisiana State Board of Medical Examiners.
