Road Closures for St. Charles Bridge Run

ST. CHARLES PARISHโRoad closures and traffic information for the 2023 United Way of St. Charles Bridge Run on Saturday, April 1. Closures will affect the Eastbank and Westbank of St. Charles Parish.
The St. Charles Parish Sheriffโs Office will provide deputies to assist with security and traffic enforcement for the 2023 United Way of St. Charles Bridge Run.
The following closures are scheduled to begin at approximately 7:45 am and are expected to be completed no later than 11 am.

From South Destrehan Drive to the turnaround just East of the Interstate 310 on-ramps, Eastbound and Westbound traffic will be shut down. The Interstate 310 on-ramps will be closed while participants line up for the race.

Interstate 310 Northbound and Southbound Exit 6 (River Road/LA 48 Destrehan/St. Rose) and Exit 7 (River Road/LA 18 Hahnville/Luling) will be closed to vehicular traffic until the race is complete. Motorists should plan for alternative routes.
For Eastbank access, motorists can take Exit 2 (Airline Highway/Highway 61 Kenner/Norco). For Westbank access, motorists can take Exit 10 (LA 3127 Donaldsonville) or Exit 12 (Highway 90 Boutte/Houma).
During the race, Interstate 310 Southbound right lane and shoulder will be closed.

River Road Eastbound from Judge Edward Dufresne Parkway to Interstate 310 on-ramps, there will be a closure with a lane shift.
River Road Westbound from Ashton Plantation Boulevard to Judge Edward Dufresne Parkway, there will be a lane shift.
