The Laplace Lions Club's St. Patrick's Day fundraiser was held at the newly renamed Jimmy's Place tavern at the Riverlands Country Club.

The Laplace Lions Club’s St. Patrick’s Day fundraiser was held at the newly renamed Jimmy’s Place tavern at the Riverlands Country Club. The money that was raised through wristband and ticket sales will be used to help mentally and physically handicapped children from the River Parishes to the Louisiana Lions Camp next summer.
Due to the rainy weather Friday, the golf tournament was moved to May 5.
