LAPLACE — Keep St. John Beautiful is giving away a limited amount of fruit and shade trees in a free raffle. Entries are being accepted beginning February 13 at the Reserve, Garyville and Edgard Library branches. The deadline to submit raffle entries is 5 p.m. February 28.

The drawing will take place on March 3, and the winner will be called between March 3-6. Arrangements to deliver the tree free of charge will be made at that time.

Entries should include an individual’s name and telephone number. Entries can also be submitted via email at keepstjohnbeautiful@gmail.com. The limit is one raffle entry per person, and participants must be St. John the Baptist Parish residents.
