Deputies with the St. Charles Parish Sheriff’s Office responded to the report of gunfire in the 1000 block of Paul Fredrick Street in Luling, LA on Wednesday, January 18, 2023 around 7:40 P.M. The caller reported hearing approximately six gunshots.

Responding deputies located a vehicle parked in an empty lot and checked for possible victims in need of medical assistance. The vehicle was unoccupied and contained a large amount of marijuana. Six spent shell casings were located in the street and grass.

No injuries have been reported from this incident.

This is an ongoing active investigation.
