LUTCHER — For the last eight years, St. James Parish Hospital and Ochsner Clinic Foundation have had a partnership to provide cardiology services in St. James Parish, expanding cardiology services close to home.

Effective January 1, Ochsner will no longer have an outpatient cardiology clinic at the hospital’s medical plaza. Patients who have previously seen Ochsner cardiologists through this clinic are encouraged to consult with their primary care provider to help navigate their care through the transition.

Additionally, Dr. Darrin Breaux, cardiologist with Baton Rouge Cardiology Center, is continuing to see patients every other week through his outpatient clinic at the medical plaza.
