RESERVE — Riverside Academy alum Bria Neal reached a major milestone in her basketball career at Howard Payne University when she surpassed the 1,000-point milestone during Saturday’s game against University of the Ozarks in Clarksville, Arkansas. Neal’s career total stood at 1,003 points at the conclusion of the game. At the beginning of her senior season just three weeks ago, her career total was 880 points. While Howard Payne lost to the Ozarks 72-67 in overtime, Neal had a strong performance as the second-leading scorer with 16 points and 16 rebounds. She has also surpassed 500 rebounds with a total of 554 thus far.
