Sorrento- Troop A Troopers are currently working a single vehicle crash involving a 18-wheeler. This incident occurred on Interstate 10 west near the Ascension/St. James Parish line. Due to the recovery efforts, inside lane eastbound is closed, causing eastbound traffic to flow slowly in the area. Crews are on the scene working diligently to recover the vehicle and return the flow of traffic to normal. The driver of the 18-wheeler was transported to a local hospital to be treated for minor injuries.
