RESERVE — Officers with the St. John Sheriff’s Office recently met with members of the Robotics Club at East St. John High School in Reserve. Officers demonstrated the capabilities of the SJSO’s robots that help save lives by going into dangerous places. The students were allowed to operate the robots and gained insight into the application of the robotics concepts they are learning. “We hope that one day one of these club members will help develop the next generation of robotics,” Sheriff Mike Tregre said.
