On Sunday, August 28, 2022, at approximately 1:40 pm, deputies with the St. Charles Parish Sheriff’s Office responded to 13190 Highway 90 in Boutte (A One Wireless) for a reported business burglary. When deputies arrived, they observed the glass front door shattered and pulled from the door frame. The security cameras had been tampered with outside and inside the store. The store owner advised two Apple iPhones and two Apple AirPods were taken.
Video evidence obtained from the store shows a male wearing a camouflage jacket, dark pants, gloves, and light-colored shoes smashed the front door of the business at approximately 3:00 am on August 28, 2022. The male had the hood pulled over his head and his face covered with sunglasses and a face mask. He was wearing a backpack.
The male is believed to be a juvenile or in his late teens, weighing 130 to 170 pounds, and 5’7 to 6’0 in height.
Detectives with the St. Charles Parish Sheriff’s Office are attempting to identify the male subject.
If anyone has any information, they are urged to contact Detective Jeffrey Mahan with the St. Charles Parish Sheriff’s Office at (985) 783-6807, (985) 783-1135, or jmahan@stcharlessheriff.org.
