Dr. Juanita Hill promoted to assistant superintendent

RESERVE — Dr. Juanita Hill was recently promoted to assistant superintendent for St. John the Baptist Parish Public Schools.
She holds a bachelor’s in education from Nicholls State University and master of education and doctor of education degrees from Southeastern Louisiana University.
Dr. Hill’s 26 years in education have included 10 years as a classroom teacher, eight years as an assistant principal, 11 months as an interim assistant superintendent, and more than seven years as director of data management.
Dr. Hill is assisting newly appointed St. John the Baptist Parish Interim Superintendent Rebecca Johnson.
Johnson holds a bachelor of science in business administration from Nicholls State University and a master of education from the American College of Education – Educational Leadership. Her most recent position was director of federal programs and assistant superintendent for the St. John the Baptist Parish School District. She has also served as a school support specialist for the Louisiana Department of Education, an ESSA executive coordinator, a classroom teacher, and a principal and assistant principal in Lafourche Parish schools.
