Hahnville, LA – The Ormond Spray Park on 1901 Ormond Blvd. will officially open for the summer on Tuesday, June 7. The park will be open Tuesday through Sunday from 1 p.m. to 6 p.m. 

 “The Ormond Spray Park is a summertime staple for our residents,” President Matthew Jewell said. “After Hurricane Ida, our Department of Parks and Recreation team made it a priority to ensure this park would be open for the summer, and while the overhead awning remains on backorder, I am pleased that we are able to open the park safely for those who come to enjoy it.”  

 The park will also be available for two-hour private rentals from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. Rentals will cost $250 for half of the park and $500 for the entire park. You can request rentals here. 

 The park will be closed on Monday for maintenance.  

 Beginning in September, the spray park will be open on weekends only. The park will close for the season on Sunday, September 25.
