RESERVE — A cabbage ball tournament raising funds for 1-year-old Blakely “BEE” Estevez will be held June 12 at the Reserve Bantam fields.
The registration cost is $250 per team consisting of four girls and six boys. Raffle money and donations are being accepted, and all donors’ names will be presented.
Blakely was diagnosed with a Wilms tumor on her left kidney following a routine nine-month wellness visit on January 27. Doctors ordered chemotherapy, and Blakely’s left kidney was successfully removed in March, weeks before her first birthday in April. There is still a microscopic lesion on Blakely’s right kidney that requires additional chemotherapy and continuous monitoring.
Please contact Anna at 504-259-2696 with donations or Casey at 504-669-4911 to register a team for the cabbage ball tournament.
