Sheriff Greg Champagne reports deputies responded to a report of identity theft. The

complainant received a call from a bank about a credit card debt from an account that

was opened in February of 2022. The complainant had never opened the account.

Sheriff Greg Champagne reports deputies responded to a reported domestic disturbance

involving Austin. Austin allegedly threatened his girlfriend with a straight razor. Austin

allegedly took her cell phone so she could not call the sheriff’s office for help. Austin was

arrested accordingly.

Sheriff Greg Champagne reports Vidal was arrested for a warrant for Armed Robbery. The

warrant states Vidal allegedly approached the victim and asked for a ride. The victim refused

and Vidal pulled a gun out of his waistband, but did not point it at her. The victim took her keys

out of the ignition and got out of the vehicle. Vidal struck the victim in the face, took her car

keys, and left in her car. The victim and Vidal were friends. Vidal was charged accordingly
