Hahnville, LA – The St. Charles Parish Department of Public Works will work with Barriere Construction to begin asphalt resurfacing work in Luling on Friday, April 8.  

Those affected by the work will be notified via door hanger at residences before starting, requesting that vehicles be removed from the road to allow Barriere Construction to perform the job.  

Below are the areas where the work will take place chronologically:  

Friday, April 8, 2022 

·         Wade Street at the end by the bus turnaround (7 a.m. – 12 p.m.)  

·         Penn Street (8 a.m. – 12 p.m.)  

·         Birch Street (12 p.m. – 4 p.m.) 

Monday, April 11, 2022  

·         Wade Street from the bus turnaround to West Heather Drive (7 a.m. – 5 p.m.) 

Emergency vehicles and school buses will not be able to pass. The asphalt work schedule is weather permitting, and the schedule is subject to change.
