HAHNVILLE – As part of follow-up assessments required by FEMA, the Department of Planning and Zoning is sending letters to homeowners in the parish regarding damages from Hurricane Ida. The department has answered questions for thousands of structures throughout the parish to date; however, certain homes require additional information.
Homeowners receiving the letter are asked to review it and respond promptly within 10 days. If no response is received, the Department of Planning and Zoning will continue to contact individuals as FEMA requires these assessments.
All responses should be sent to scpflood@stcharlesgov.net.
