SCSO finds third vehicle stolen from Bayou Gauche

On October 29, 2021 the St. Charles Parish Sheriff’s Office began investigating several vehicle burglaries as well as three vehicle thefts that occurred in the Bayou Estates Subdivision located in Bayou Gauche, LA.
Within less than 24 hours two of the stolen vehicles were located abandoned in New Orleans. On November 2, 2021, the third vehicle was located abandoned in Jefferson Parish.
Its Criminal Investigations Bureau is working with Detectives and Crime Scene Technicities from both N.O.P.D. and J.P.S.O. in an effort to utilize all available resources and bring the criminals involved to justice.
The investigation into the October 29th burglaries and thefts is still ongoing. It is believed that the crimes occurred between the night time hours of October 28th and early morning hours of October 29th, 2021.
