Hahnville, LA – The Louisiana Department of Insurance will host two town hall meetings to provide information to residents and assist with navigating claims. The events will take place at the Lafon Performing Arts Center (275 Judge Edward Dufresne Pkwy, Luling, LA 70070) on Tuesday, October 19 and Thursday, October 21 from 3pm-7pm.

“When Senator Gary Smith approached me with this opportunity, we worked quickly to set it up as I know many residents have questions about their claims as it relates to Hurricane Ida,” said President Matthew Jewell. “I encourage anyone who is having issues or has concerns regarding their home insurance to attend one of these town hall sessions.”

The town hall will occur both days from 3pm-4pm and will answer many questions. Representatives from the Louisiana Department of Insurance will be on site from 4pm-7pm to answer specific questions regarding claims or issues individuals are having with their insurance companies.

Residents with specific claims questions, should bring their claim to the event.
