VACHERIE — Governor John Bel Edwards appointed Felix K. Boughton of Vacherie to the Ascension- St. James Airport and Transportation Authority. Boughton is the director of finance for the St. James Parish Government. He will represent St. James Parish.

The Ascension-St. James Airport and Transportation Authority is a public corporation authorized to perform in its corporate capacity all acts necessary for the purpose of acquiring, constructing, maintaining and operating the Louisiana Regional Airport in Gonzales, Louisiana.
