Distribution efforts continue Friday in St. John Parish

LAPLACE — Red Cross is passing out cleaning kits at Juan Anthony Joseph Park in Edgard and East St. John Preparatory until supplies run out.
East St. John Prep is located at 400 Ory Drive in LaPlace. The Juan Anthony Joseph Memorial Park is located at 3445 Hwy 18 in Edgard.
Water, ice and MREs are being distributed every day from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. at REGALA Gymnasium, located at 200 REGALA Park Rd. in Reserve, and at the Wallace Fire Station, located at 5733 Highway 18 in Vacherie (Wallace).
Another distribution site will open Saturday at Garyville/ Mt. Airy Math and Science Magnet School at noon.
Hot meals are being served at Celebration Church at 1 p.m. at Celebration Church, located at 3400 US-51 in LaPlace.
