Ponchatoula snowball stand burglary suspect arrested

On July 26, 2021, the Tangipahoa Parish Sheriff’s Office Burglary Task Force Unit began investigating a burglary that occurred at Todd’s Snowballs on Hwy 22 Ponchatoula.
Security cameras captured an unknown male breaking in and stealing the cash register. With the help of the public and with the assistance of Crime Stoppers of Tangipahoa, Inc., detectives were to identify and locate man responsible.
Yesterday evening, 18 – year-old Ethyn Wagner of Ponchatoula was arrested and charged with Simple Burglary. Upon being questioned by detectives, Wagner confessed to the crime.
