Detectives are investigating a shooting that occurred Saturday, May 15, 2021, about 4 p.m. in the 1100 block of Cardinal Street in LaPlace where a man was injured.
Upon arrival, officers located a 19-year-old male victim lying in a driveway. Emergency medical services transported the victim to a New Orleans hospital where he is being treated for a gunshot wound to the chest and knee.
