Hahnville, LA – The St. Charles Parish Department of Public Works has closed the Harding Street railroad crossing in Destrehan to all traffic effective immediately after determining it cannot be used at this time. All traffic will be required to detour to the Vans Lane railroad crossing.

Repairs will be made by a CNRR crew to the railroad crossing tomorrow, Friday, April 23, from 7 a.m. until 11 a.m.

Once the railroad is deemed usable, St. Charles Parish will notify the public.
