RESERVE — St. John the Baptist Parish is hosting October art workshops for children ages 8 to 12 in partnership with teacher Karin Douroux. Classes will be held from 10 a.m. to noon the first four Saturdays of October at REGALA Gym in Reserve.

Students must arrive by 9:45 a.m., as classes will start promptly at 10 a.m.

Saturday, Oct. 3 will feature a “spooky cat” theme. The theme for Oct. 10 will be “campfires,” and the theme for Oct. 17 will be “woodland fox.” Finally, the theme for Oct. 24 is “sugar skull.” No workshops will be held on Halloween, which falls on a Saturday this year.
