There is heavy police presence including a low-flying helicopter in the areas of St. Andrew Estates, River Oaks, Oak Point, Canterberry and Country Club north of St. Andrew’s in LaPlace.
State Police and the SJSO are conducting a search for a male subject, identified as Terrell Bellvie, of New Orleans, who fled on foot from a traffic stop this morning at I-10, marker 207. Bellvie was wearing all black. His hair is in short twists. Anyone seeing this subject is asked to immediately call 911.
